Stroud Funeral Home was established in 1996 after acquiring and renovating the old Clute State Bank building located on Business 288. In 2004, the adjoining property was purchased making for a new addition in 2005. In May 2005 the new addition to Stroud Funeral Home was opened, consisting of a chapel capable of seating 225 along with complete renovation of the facility to better serve our families.
